Pamela Hepp, Esq. has more than 30 years of healthcare legal experience. She has served as General Counsel for Independence Health System (formerly Excela Health) since 2020 after previously serving as associate counsel of Excela Health from 2005 through 2009. As part of the health system‘s executive management team, she focuses on strategic initiatives, transactions, risk, corporate matters and providing regulatory advice. Hepp is also a shareholder with Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney as a member of the firm’s Healthcare Section. Hepp is also a member of the firm’s Compensation Committee and is former Co-Chair of the firm’s Cybersecutiry and Data Privacy Group.
She has been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® consistently since 2018 under the Healthcare Law category. She was named as one of Health Data Management's "12 Healthcare IT Law Attorneys You Should Know."
Hepp received her law degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and her Masters in Public Health from the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health. She received her undergraduate degree from West Virginia University. She serves on the Catholic Charities Free Clinic Community Advisory Board. Hepp and her husband, Ray, have two sons and live in Allison Park.
