As part of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010, nonprofit hospitals are required to complete a Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) survey periodically.
During the survey period, residents are invited to complete the survey and provide input on important health topics and issues in their communities. Thank you to all who provided their feedback.
Once the survey period is complete, results are studied, and a plan is put into place to attend to those identified needs with the goal of improving community health by meshing the health system planning with public health and community planning. These assessments have helped to guide needed service development.
