The BMH Foundation participates in the following Amazon charity program:
The BMH Foundation’s Grateful Patient Program offers a way for you to do just that.
On a daily basis, we receive praise from our patients about the caregivers at Butler Memorial Hospital (BMH) who have touched their lives. It may be a special doctor or nurse, a volunteer, an entire department or even one of our clinical programs that impacted your health or that of a loved one. As a recent recipient of our services, we invite you to share your story with us.
The BMH Foundation’s Grateful Patient Program is personal and flexible. You can designate a gift of any size to a specific area or allow us to direct the funds where they are needed most. You may also choose to make a cash donation or contribute through other charitable means such as gifts of stock or real estate, endowment funds or planned giving. For more information or to make a donation, click here.
Your generosity will benefit others in need by helping enhance the healing experience of future patients.
Why planned gifts? A planned gift is a personal and meaningful contribution that affords you the opportunity to give in a way that will leave a lasting legacy for you and your family, as well as the thousands of patients and community members that will be influenced by your generosity. Additionally, deferred gifts can reduce gift and estate taxes on assets passing to your heirs.
Is a planned gift a good option for me? Your financial situation and intent are specific to you. Your estate professional can help you determine how to best meet your goals.
Please contact the BMH Foundation Office at 724-284-4716 for additional information.
A Tribute Gift, or memorial donation, to the BMH Foundation is a special way of expressing your love and is also a way to pay tribute to a person who is no longer with us. Contributions of any size are graciously accepted and may be designated for a particular need at Butler Memorial Hospital. Please know that your tribute gift will help us continue to provide top-quality, local healthcare for years to come.
For all cumulative gifts of $500 or more made in a loved one's memory, you can place a memorial plaque on the display located near the cafeteria on the second floor of Butler Memorial Hospital. To honor the memory of a loved one, please click here.
You too can be a partner in helping Independence Health System/Butler Memorial Hospital develop innovative services, new technology needs, educational programing plus more.
The Women’s Imaging Center was designed and staffed by women, for women. Even during routine testing, the staff understands how important it is for patients to be in a comfortable, supportive environment where privacy and convenience are valued.
Over the past 20 years, the BMH Foundation has supported the Women’s Imaging Center by helping to purchase state of the art equipment, including: • Automated Breast Ultrasound Unit • Breast Tomosynthesis Unit • Digital Imaging Unit • Stereotactic Biopsy Table • Stereotactic Biopsy Unit
At the same time you can perpetuate visible recognition for a loved one by having your family name inscribed on a leaf or a stone on the Tree of Life sculpture, which is located outside the Women’s Imaging Center at 129 Oneida Valley Road at the Crossroads Campus.
This lovely work of art bears the names specified by donors who have contributed to the Tree in amounts ranging from $500 to $10,000. Individuals, groups, organizations, and corporations may add their names to the Women’s Services Tree of Life. We invite you to contact the BHS Foundation to discover how you can be a partner in the mission of helping to further Women’s Health Services and how you can also experience the benefits of being a Tree of Life donor.
