All residents receive 20 Paid Time Off days per program year.
Residents are assigned a panel of continuity of care outpatient Family Medicine patients.
PGY 1: ½ day of clinic per week
PGY 2: 1.5 days of clinic per week
PGY 3: 2 days of clinic per week
Residents are assigned continuity of care obstetrics patients throughout their residency. They attend prenatal appointments and births.
Residents are assigned longitudinal care nursing home patients throughout their residency. They see these patients while on the Geriatrics rotation and also are assigned to groups to see these patients monthly.
Residents are required to complete a Research project and Quality Improvement project during their 3 year residency.

Applicants must meet the following criteria in order to be considered:
One of the following:
Be a fourth year student or graduate of a medical school accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education or the American Osteopathic Association.
Be a fourth year student or graduate of a foreign medical school.
Applicants must hold a currently valid certification from the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates prior to appointment
Applicants must:
Pass the USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 or the COMLEX-USA Level 1 and Level 2
Be eligible to obtain a medical training license in Pennsylvania
