Independence Health System Physician Recognized in Pittsburgh Business Times 2026 30 Under 30 Listing

GREENSBURG, Pa., March 24, 2026 – Independence Health System is pleased to announce that Adam Burke, DO, MBA, a board-certified family medicine physician based in Connellsville, Pa., who also served as medical director of patient access, has been named to the Pittsburgh Business Times’ tenth annual 30 Under 30 listing. This recognition, presented in partnership with Leadership Pittsburgh Inc., celebrates young professionals in the Pittsburgh-area business and nonprofit sectors. Selection is based on each honoree’s demonstrated achievements and contributions, as well as the positive impact their leadership has on their organizations and local communities.

As a family medicine physician, Dr. Burke is committed to strengthening the health and well-being of the community he serves. He provides comprehensive, compassionate care through every stage of life. Whether providing preventive care, managing treatment options, or coordinating care for individuals with chronic conditions, he builds lasting relationships with patients and families.

Dr. Burke earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) at the Seton Hill campus. He also holds a Master of Business Administration from Youngstown State University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Seton Hill University. He completed his residency training at the Latrobe Family Medicine Residency Program. In 2025, he joined Independence Health System as a full-time family medicine physician at the Square at Connellsville. Dr. Burke is a member of the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association and the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Honorees were recognized in a special edition of the Pittsburgh Business Times on March 20 and will be celebrated at an awards ceremony in April.
