Independence Health System to Host Free Cardiovascular Health Screening Event in February

BUTLER, Pa., Jan. 29, 2026 – Independence Health System will host a free cardiovascular health screening event on Wednesday, Feb. 25, from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Butler Crossroads Campus, 127 Oneida Valley Road, Butler, PA. 

Cardiovascular screenings play a vital role in identifying risk factors for heart and vascular disease. The free health screenings will include:

• Body mass index (BMI) assessment
• Blood pressure screening
• Carotid artery screening
• Electrocardiogram (EKG)
• Vascular (ABI) screening
