Independence Health System Welcomes Dr. Virginia Singla to the Cardiovascular Team at Butler Memorial Hospital

BUTLER, Pa., Feb. 26, 2026 – Independence Health System welcomes back Virginia Singla, MD, MS, to the cardiology team at Butler Memorial Hospital, where she will provide specialized care in cardiac electrophysiology. 

Singla earned her medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Virginia Health System. She went on to complete fellowships in cardiovascular medicine and clinical cardiac electrophysiology at Yale-New Haven Hospital.  Board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular medicine, adult echocardiography and clinical cardiac electrophysiology, Singla specializes in diagnosing and treating complex heart rhythm disorders, including atrial fibrillation and other arrhythmias.   

“I look forward to collaborating with the medical staff at Butler Memorial Hospital to ensure patients receive the specialized care they need for complex heart rhythm disorders,” Singla said. “By tailoring treatment plans to each individual, we can improve outcomes and enhance their overall quality of life.
