Complete Physical Exams
Physical exams include health history, vital signs, general appearance and examination of the heart, lungs, head, neck, abdomen, neurology, skin and extremities. Female exams can include breast and pelvic exam. Male exams can include testicular and prostate exams.
Nursing Home Care
Primary Care - New Bethlehem provides dedicated physicians to offer compassionate care and treatment for patients who reside in a nursing home and/or personal care home. Dr. Janice Semeyn and Dr. Brandon Doverspike provide care weekly at Clarview Nursing and Rehab Center in Sligo, PA. They also provide care every 3 months at Edgewood Heights in New Bethlehem, PA.
Obesity/Weight Management
Many health problems are directly related to weight. Our providers help manage weight by discussing diet and nutrition counseling.
Newborn & Pediatric
Newborn & Pediatric services include: Acute Illness ADD/ADHD Developmental Issues Immunizations Newborn Care Well baby exams (including measurements, head to toe physical exam) Well Child Exams
Chronic Disease Management
At SFP we manage chronic diseases such as: Diabetes Hypertension Asthma High Cholesterol Obesity
Vaccinations
There are a variety of vaccines available at BHS Primary Care, New Bethlehem including the flu vaccine and pneumonia vaccine.
On-Site Lab Testing
For your convenience, we provide onsite laboratory services including venipuncture, urine tests, and other bodily fluid tests as ordered per your provider.
Medicare Annual Wellness Exam
We provide annual wellness exams for Medicare patients. Please contact the office if you have any questions regarding this exam. A Medicare Exam questionnaire should be completed and brought with you to your Annual Wellness visit.
Pre-Operative Exams
The purpose of this examination is to clear you for a surgical procedure. It’s very important that we have your orders for your surgeon prior to your visit.
