BHS Pediatrics, Clarion offers same day appointments for your convenience so you may have your child seen the same day by their own primary care doctor. This provides continuity of care for your child as well as consistent documentation in their charts.

Preparing For Your Appointment
Please arrive 15-20 minutes early for your scheduled appointment to allow our staff to go over policies and update any necessary information.
We ask that you allow plenty of time to get to the office for your appointment. You may be asked to reschedule your appointment if you are more than 10 minutes late.
We strive to stay on time but from time to time, a patient emergency arises and we may be running late for your visit. You will have the option to reschedule or stay to be seen and we will keep you informed of how long of a delay you may experience.
We understand that appointments sometimes need to be changed, so we ask that you call in advance if you cannot keep your scheduled appointment.
Policies & Procedures
BHS Pediatrics, Clarion accepts most major health plans including Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, UPMC and more. However since insurance plans are always changing and renaming, we encourage you to verify participation of our providers by contacting your insurance company.
Please provide us with a copy of your updated insurance card at each appointment to ensure correct and timely processing.
All co-pays and past due balances are expected at time of service, unless a prior agreement has been made with our billing department.
9 Month Checkup
If your child is scheduled for his or her 9 month checkup, please make sure you have completed the “Ages to Stages Questionnaire” and bring it with you to their appointment. This should have been given to you at their 6 month checkup appointment. If the form is not completed and returned, this could delay your child’s appointment time up to 15 minutes to 30 minutes the day of the appointment.
