William E. Saar, DO

About the Provider

William E. Saar, DO, is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon with Tri Rivers Musculoskeletal Centers and sees patients in its Butler-Clearview and Slippery Rock offices. He is a member of the Orthopedic Foot and Ankle team, and he has been recognized as a Pittsburgh Magazine “Best Doctor”. He attended the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his internship and orthopedic surgery residency at South Pointe Hospital in Cleveland. He then completed an orthopedic foot and ankle reconstruction fellowship at the Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Center in Columbus, Ohio, where he refined his skills in minimally invasive arthroscopic ankle techniques and reconstructive procedures for complex foot and ankle trauma. Dr. Saar joined Pittsburgh-based Tri Rivers in 2011 and has since built a busy orthopedic surgical practice that focuses on foot and ankle surgery. He is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery and is a member of the American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society, American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, American Osteopathic Association, Pennsylvania Orthopedic Society, Pennsylvania Medical Society and the Allegheny County Medical Society.
