About the Provider

Trenton M. Gause II, MD, is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon with Tri Rivers Musculoskeletal Centers and sees patients in its Cranberry/Mars and North Hills offices. He is a member of the Hand and Upper Extremity team. Dr. Gause II received his medical degree from Penn State College of Medicine and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Virginia. He then conducted a hand and upper extremity surgery fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, where he further refined his surgical skills and authored numerous articles. In September 2022, Dr. Gause II joined Pittsburgh-based Tri Rivers, where he performs shoulder surgery, including reverse shoulder replacement, rotator cuff repair and shoulder stabilization, as well as hand, elbow and wrist surgery, including endoscopic carpal tunnel release. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Society for Surgery of the Hand, Pennsylvania Orthopaedic Society and Allegheny County Medical Society.
