Jared R. Cowan, PA-C

About the Provider

Jared R. Cowan, MPAS, PA-C has over a decade of professional experience as a Physician Assistant. Originally from Central Pennsylvania, he attended Saint Francis University in Loretto, Pennsylvania. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Health Sciences in 2011, followed by a Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Sciences in 2012. Jared moved to Westmoreland County in 2012, where he served the community working in the urological surgery field until 2024. He developed a desire to master a new specialty; thus, he began his start in Neurosurgery in early 2024 when he joined Independence Health System. He has experience treating patients in both the outpatient and inpatient settings, as well as surgical first-assist.
