About the Provider
Corey A. Pacek, MD, is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon with Tri Rivers Musculoskeletal Centers and sees patients in its Crossroads Campus and Slippery Rock offices. He is a member of the Hand and Upper Extremity team. Dr. Pacek received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He then conducted a hand and upper extremity surgery fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and Wexford Hand & UpperEx Center, where he refined his skills in hand, including microsurgery, elbow and shoulder surgery. He has served as a clinical instructor and staff surgeon as well as authored numerous articles. In 2012, Dr. Pacek joined Pittsburgh-based Tri Rivers where his practice focuses on arthroscopic hand, wrist and elbow surgery. He is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and also treats congenital hand conditions, fractures, dislocations, ligament injuries and arthritis. Dr. Pacek serves as a team physician for local high school athletic programs, providing on-field sports medicine coverage. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Society for Surgery of the Hand, the Pennsylvania Orthopaedic Society, the Pennsylvania Medical Society and Allegheny County Medical Society.
