About the Provider

Christopher T. Edwards, MD, is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon who joined Tri Rivers Musculoskeletal Centers in 2017. He is a member of the Orthopedic Foot and Ankle team and sees patients in its Cranberry/Mars and North Hills offices. He attended the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine and completed both his orthopedic surgery residency and his orthopedic foot and ankle fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. There, he refined his skills in minimally invasive arthroscopic ankle techniques and reconstructive procedures for complex foot and ankle trauma. Clinical services provided by Dr. Edwards include: reconstructive foot and ankle surgery; treatment of degenerative food and ankle conditions, including ankle replacement; and minimally invasive arthroscopic techniques for sports-related foot and ankle injuries. Dr. Edwards is a team physician for Mars High School. In fall 2019, Dr. Edwards was inducted into the Washington & Jefferson Athletic College Hall of Fame for his prolific career as a collegiate quarterback. He is also a member of the Pennsylvania Medical Society and the Allegheny County Medical Society.
