Medical School: University of Medical Sciences and Technology, Khartoum, Sudan
Born and raised in Saudi Arabia to a Sudanese family, I developed a deep appreciation for resilience and adaptability. I pursued my medical education at the University of Medical Sciences and Technology in Sudan, where I was exposed to diverse patient populations and learned to provide quality care with limited resources. These experiences instilled in me a strong commitment to problem-solving and compassionate medicine.
Beyond medicine, soccer has played a pivotal role in shaping my character, teaching me discipline, teamwork, and perseverance—qualities I bring into my medical practice. My greatest inspiration is my father, a dedicated physician who has guided me with his wisdom and unwavering commitment to patient care. His influence has fueled my passion for family medicine, where I hope to make a lasting impact on the lives of my patients and community.
I feel incredibly fortunate to be at Clarion Hospital, where the values align with my approach to patient care. Clarion’s commitment to community-focused, patient-centered medicine reinforces my dedication to providing holistic, compassionate, and resourceful care to every individual I serve.
Medical School: Hanyang University College of Medicine, Seoul, Korea (The Republic of)
Undergraduate: State University of New York, Binghamton, NY
I grew up in New York City and graduated from Binghamton University. After earning my medical degree from Hanyang University College of Medicine in South Korea in 2015, I completed my general surgery residency at Severance Hospital, one of the top hospitals in the country. I became board-certified in surgery in 2020 and have since gained hands-on experience in primary care and emergency medicine.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked in various clinical settings and consistently sought opportunities to expand my knowledge. Family medicine resonates with me because it allows me to care for patients of all ages while addressing both acute and chronic conditions, aligning with my commitment to comprehensive healthcare.
I’m drawn to family medicine for the chance to build meaningful, long-term relationships with patients. Beyond treating illnesses, I want to be a supportive presence for my patients—listening to their concerns and learning from their perspectives.
I’m eager to join Clarion Hospital, where the emphasis on patient-centered care and diverse clinical opportunities will help me grow as a physician. I look forward to contributing to the team and starting this next chapter.
Medical School: Friedrich-Schiller-University, Jena, Germany
Medical School: Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, Erie, PA
Undergraduate: Michigan State University, East Lansing, MI
I completed a majority of my clinical rotations at Clarion Hospital and during that time, I built amazing relationships with the residents, attending physicians, and nursing staff. Everybody was always so eager to help and support me through my rotations. I was able to witness firsthand how the program fostered such a great learning environment for the residents to grow and develop the skills necessary to progress their medical training. This, along with all of the fantastic attending physicians that are so willing to devote their time to teaching and supporting you during training, is why I ultimately chose this program.
Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time with my 3 dogs, hiking, and working on my car. I also compete in powerlifting at the national level. I’m considering competing in bodybuilding in the near future as well.
