Chief Operating Officer, Physician and Provider Network
Scott Madden brings more than 30 years of leadership and experience in
physician practice management to his role as the COO for the Independence
Health Medical Group. In this role, Scott is responsible for all functions
of the 1,000+-provider network, including operations, finance, strategy,
culture, quality, revenue cycle management, and data analytics.
Scott started his career at Meridian Management Group in 1991. In 1996,
he joined MED3000 when Meridian Management Group was acquired. Madden
developed his career by spending 16 years with MED3000 focused solely
on affiliated and independent multispecialty physician groups. His experience
includes working with Yale Newhaven, Tenet, Seaview IPA, Kaleida-UB, WVVA
Healthcare Alliance, Baylor, Scott & White Health as well as many
others across the country.
A native of western PA, Madden received his degree in health information
management from the University of Pittsburgh and became a Registered Health
Information Administrator in 1995. He is a volunteer board member of Open
Fields, Butler ASC, and Bridges Health Partners.
