Mall Walkers

Independence Health System and Westmoreland Mall have partnered to create the original INDOOR Mall Walkers Program. Walkers in the program meet the fourth Thursday of each month (except November, when they meet the THIRD Thursday. There are no meetings in December, January or February), 7:45 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. in the Food Court, upper level, Westmoreland Mall, U.S. Route 30, Greensburg for:

Educational health talks from Independence Health System physicians and clinicians
Health screenings
Recipes and nutritional guides
Fitness resources
Giveaways
Informational tables featuring community partners including personal care homes, nursing homes and others
Interactive walking stations along the upper level walking route

A noncompetitive walking program, Mall Walkers provides members with an array of health and wellness activities and benefits, plus, it’s a great way to meet new friends and keep active! There is no cost to join!
