Scheduling your mammogram just got easier at Independence Health System! Read through the criteria below to see if scheduling online is an option for you.

There are certain instances that will require assistance from our scheduling team to ensure enough time is provided during your appointment. For that reason, we ask that if any of these circumstances apply to you, please call our scheduling department to schedule.

  • If you have breast implants
  • If you need any assistance or accommodations to support your mobility during your appointment
  • If you are you currently having any breast problems such as a lump(s), pain, nipple discharge/inversion, skin changes or are you due for any type of follow up
  • If you have been diagnosed with breast cancer
  • If you have an order for a test to completed at the same time as your mammogram such as a bone density scan, ultrasound, or diagnostic mammogram.
